About the Role:
AI Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to oversee railroad station platform reconstruction projects for Metro-North in Naugatuck, CT.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee construction activities, including track work, structural improvements, and ADA compliance upgrades.
- Review contractor work, perform daily reporting, and document construction progress.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and transit authorities.
- Evaluate work quality and adherence to Metro-North guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in railroad station platform reconstruction, preferably with Metro-North or similar commuter rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of railroad construction practices, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with MTA, Metro-North, or other transit agency standards.
- Ability to work in a field environment, conduct site inspections, and ensure construction compliance.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications in railroad construction inspection (preferred).
