Family Teacher (afternoons/evenings and weekends)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Private Tutor to provide personalized educational support for my three children: a 6-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl, who attend different schools. I hope you can join our family to assist with homework, after-school tutoring, and improving their academic performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Education, experience in developing engaging lesson plans, and a passion for creating a positive learning environment that helps students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and implement interactive and engaging lesson plans tailored to each child's unique learning style.

✅ Create a nurturing and stimulating study environment that fosters curiosity, participation, and critical thinking.

✅ Regularly assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback.

✅ Assist children with their homework, ensuring they understand classroom material and reinforce their learning.

✅ Provide individualized tutoring to address each child's academic needs and help improve their performance.

✅ Collaborate with parents, school teachers, and other educators to ensure a seamless learning experience.

✅ Identify students who may require additional academic support and implement early intervention strategies.

✅ Communicate effectively with parents, discussing learning goals, progress, and challenges while adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Master’s degree in Education (Mandatory)

✅ Strong background in literacy education and early childhood development

✅ Experience in preschool, early education, or K1-K8 tutoring is highly preferred

✅ Ability to manage multiple children's learning needs and create personalized lesson plans

✅ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and fellow educators

✅ Ability to customize teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs

✅ Highly responsible, patient, and passionate about helping children grow and succeed

Expected hours: 40 per week
