We are seeking a Designer / Intermediate Designer with 3-6 years of post-graduate U.S. work experience that will be the right, long-term fit for our creative and dynamic office environment for immediate start.
nARCHITECTS is a Brooklyn-based office founded in 1999. As a small office with the feeling of an atelier and the organization of a larger office, we work at a range of scales with multi-disciplinary teams. We design buildings in the public realm, as well as houses and multi-family housing. We believe in joining innovative concepts, social engagement and technical precision in addressing contemporary issues.
You will join our dynamic office to work on current and new projects as a team member and / or leader, depending on your level of experience.
Job Requirements
- M. Arch or B. Arch degree
- Work experience on CD sets, including technical research, consultant coordination and regulatory codes and approvals.
- Knowledge of and passion for contemporary architecture and design culture.
- A strong personal and professional architecture portfolio that illustrates knowledge of materials and constructability
- Proficiency with Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and communication skills
- Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- U.S. work visa & fluent in English
