RISE is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 as Aid To The Developmentally Disabled (ADD) by family members who were concerned about the physical and emotional decline of patients compelled to live in crowded institutions.
These family members believed that appropriate treatment and training in a warm, sheltered, homelike environment would enhance their physical and emotional growth. With the support, funding and licensing of New York State’s Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), ADD came to life
We are currently seeking Full time Senior Residential manager for a residential program based in Ridge. In this role you will co manage the program with another residential manager. You would be expected to provide administrative oversight that would include direct supervision of staff, ensure compliance , manage a residential budget, coordinate treatment and programming with outside vendors, Provide oversight with medical care and health safety and be the liaison to family members. This is full time position Sunday to Thursday 7am-3pm but would require a tremendous amount of flexibility to meet the demands of the program.
This position offers a $3500 Dollar Sign On Bonus
HS degree/BA strongly Preferred in a relative degree program
3 years supervisory experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities required
Ability to be flexible with a daily schedule to meet the needs and demands of the program.
