A PSSW contributes to AHF by helping our patient population receiving HIV/AIDS medical care at our Tacoma Healthcare Center (HHC) achieve their optimal self. The PSSW addresses the emotional and mental health needs of clients supporting them in their behavior change as well as linking them to community resources. The PSSW will offer support groups to foster community amongst clients as well as increase client coping skills and overall health/treatment knowledge.
A PSSW enhances the reputation of AHF by helping our patient population receiving HIV/AIDS medical care at our Tacoma Healthcare Center (HHC) achieve their optimal self. The PSSW addresses the emotional and mental health needs of clients supporting them in their behavior change as well as linking them to community resources. The PSSW will work as a part of a close-Knit team to enhance the patient experencae at the Tacoma HCC.
