Class Description:
This course covers lift truck (forklift) fundamentals to include OSHA as it relates to safe lift truck operation. It covers the following:
- Principles of Balance, Stability and Capacity
- Importance of a Thorough Pre-Operational Inspection of the Lift Truck
- Safe Load Handling Techniques
- Safe Handling of Fuels and Batteries Used in Lift Trucks
Students will receive a certificate from AIDT.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be eligible to work in the US.
