AIDT located at the Bill Taylor Institute in Vance, AL is seeking applicants for a full-time Organization Development / Instructor Coordinator.

SYNOPSIS
Provide organizational needs analysis, design developmental paths and programs, facilitate training courses, and manage and support MBUSI New Hire Orientation, Team Leader Academy, Group Leader Academy, and processes which will support Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI’s) continued development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform development and training needs analysis in collaboration with MBUSI.
- Attend meetings with MBUSI Managers and representatives.
- Oversee and develop training programs for MBUSI (New Hire Training Programs, Leadership Development Programs, etc.).
- Develop training material and conduct training for the organization based on subject matter expertise, as requested.
- Continuously improve training concepts and material.
- Research outside consultant/service for specialized training needs and assess outside training services, negotiate costs, coordinate purchase orders and training dates.
- Support the development of an MBUSI internal trainer pool through multiplying trainer skill set and methodology.
- Perform all duties with a positive attitude, communicating professionally at all times to reflect a positive AIDT image.
- Perform other duties as required by AIDT, including willingness to accept and manage the development and implementation of special projects and other work-related duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of generally accepted office procedures and practices
- Excellent computer skills. High level of skill with PC computer applications, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in developing and facilitating training programs and/or courses
- Knowledge of industrial training procedures, workflow, scheduling, and planning
- Skill in reading, writing, spelling, punctuating, and editing work
- Ability to understand and follow directions from a diverse technical staff
- Ability to learn internal AIDT/MB processes and job specific systems
- Ability to train staff and other employees in AIDT/MB processes
- Ability to work independently and with supervision, as needed
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work flexible hours based on program needs
- Ability to follow established laws, policies, and procedures
- Ability to function in an automated work environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple administrative functions concurrently

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum two years’ experience in appropriate area of specialization; or Baccalaureate Degree from a duly accredited institution required; or two-year degree in specialization and one year industry or industrial training experience.
Salary and General:
Initial placement will be based on experience and education applicable to the C-3L salary schedule, within a range of $60,226 – $78,909. Paid monthly. Excellent benefits package included.
Criminal Background Check:
The applicant chosen for employment will be required to sign a Criminal Background Check consent form and to submit a nonrefundable $26.98 payment for the cost of the criminal background check. (Note: $26.98 fee is based on possession of an Alabama Driver’s License. The fee for the background check may be more or less if the driver’s license is not an Alabama license.) Permanent employment will be contingent upon the results of the criminal background check.
