Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst at AIEP, you will play a critical role in supporting our data-driven decision-making processes by providing detailed analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation:
Lead efforts in gathering, cleaning, and validating large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Develop and implement processes to collect, store, and manage data from multiple channels, ensuring it is easily accessible and well-organized for analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data collection requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Conduct in-depth analysis of various datasets, including operational, customer, sales, and financial data, to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
Utilize statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Provide comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate complex data insights in an easily digestible manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Reporting & Data Visualization:
Create visually engaging and user-friendly reports and dashboards that communicate key business metrics and performance indicators using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
Deliver insightful reports to executives and management teams to guide strategic decisions, helping the company achieve its business goals.
Continuously refine and improve reporting processes to ensure efficient, real-time access to accurate data.
Forecasting & Predictive Analytics:
Develop and implement predictive models to forecast trends, such as customer behavior, sales patterns, and operational demands.
Leverage statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and historical data to provide actionable forecasts that help the company plan for future challenges and opportunities.
Work closely with business leaders to incorporate forecasts into budgeting, resource allocation, and operational strategies.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with various departments, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and deliver insights tailored to their objectives.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that data systems are optimized for analysis and that data infrastructure supports the company’s growing needs.
Offer guidance to non-technical team members in understanding data trends and how they can leverage data insights to drive business improvements.
Data Governance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by establishing and maintaining robust data governance processes.
Identify and resolve any data discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in a timely manner, ensuring data is of the highest quality.
Work to continuously improve data collection methodologies and ensure compliance with industry standards and privacy regulations.
Continuous Process Improvement:
Identify areas of improvement in data analysis processes, reporting tools, and data workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Research and implement new data analysis tools, technologies, and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver innovative insights.
Contribute to the optimization of business intelligence and data systems across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a data analyst role or similar positions, with proven success in working with large, complex datasets.
Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as technology or business analytics.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in data analysis and manipulation tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python (or other statistical analysis languages).
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to create interactive dashboards and reports.
Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques for predictive analytics.
Analytical & Critical Thinking:
Exceptional ability to analyze, interpret, and translate data into actionable business insights.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management and non-technical team members.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with AI & Machine Learning:

Familiarity with advanced statistical software such as R, SAS, or SPSS is a plus.
Industry Knowledge:
Prior experience working in the AI, tech, or data analytics industry, with an understanding of business processes and data needs.
