How you will create an impact
The Application Security API Engineer will be responsible for deploying, tuning and maintaining security policies and enhancements related to application security with emphasis on API security controls. This will be to protect company’s sensitive and confidential information to mitigate security threats to the corporate network.
This position is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of application security, application programming interfaces (API), security oversite and governance. The candidate must understand how the design of these security capabilities impacts management and administration, as well as business applications, network performance, and end user experience. In this role, the candidate will work with the network security engineering team in support of the business to thoroughly test changes and deploy important security capabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of and experience with application information security controls employed to protect networks and computer applications, as well as the ability to identify, test and implement new API-focused security solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in all aspects of application security with specific emphasis on API security controls. The candidate will have at least 7 years of experience working in a large enterprise network environment providing comprehensive solutions and approaches to solving the challenges associated with a large, complex, global environment ensuring strong application security controls are enforced with minimal impacts to the business processes.

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $99,000-$143,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
