We're looking for a Managing Director – Primary Auto to join our team at AIG. As a Complex Managing Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team that investigates, evaluates, and negotiates moderate to high severity Auto and General Liability claims nationwide.
Job Description:
- You'll work closely with adjusting staff to ensure they analyze coverage; investigate and resolve claims within granted authority to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
- You'll also provide ongoing coaching/counseling to direct reports to achieve technical excellence and aid the Assistant Vice President in developing and ensuring technical excellence by establishing policies and procedures in support of claim file quality.
- You'll conduct periodic claim file audits of field claims practices and results.
Requirements:
- 5 years of General and Auto Liability claim experience
- Ability to collaborate and successfully manage work when working at home or in the office in a flexible work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Effective decision-making skills including the ability to recognize, analyze, and improve claims performance against standards and goals
