Cashier/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will manage the flow of guests in the restaurant while providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing, and handling transactions efficiently, placing and processing to go / take out order.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Assist guests with menu inquiries and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for guest interactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others is crucial for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
