The Horton Hotel is looking for a part-time, Server to take orders and serve food and beverages to guests during their stay.
The Job
A typical day for a Server at the Horton Hotel consists of taking guests orders and serving them food and drinks while providing exceptional service.
We are looking for candidates with weekend availability.
Job Duties Include:
- Take guest orders and provide information regarding menu offerings
- Prepare and serve beverages
- Stock and replenish supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of station
- Respond to guest requests
- Verify that guests are of legal drinking age when serving alcoholic beverages

The Horton Hotel is a 15 room boutique hotel with a swanky lobby lounge and rooftop bar in the heart of downtown Boone, opened in Feb of 2019.

Requirements:Required Skills & Experience
- Food and beverage service experience preferred.
- Hotel experience preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates in an indoor hotel restaurant and kitchen environment. This job continuously uses standard food service and cleaning equipment and chemicals. This job is occasionally exposed to fumes, gases, odors, dust, and biohazards.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, supplies or equipment; reach with hands and arms overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping; climb stairs; communicate or listen. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull or place food products, trays and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
