Job Summary
The Electronic and Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing complex mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly processes and a commitment to meeting production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical and electronic components, including wiring, panels, motors, and circuit boards, according to schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure finished assemblies meet company and industry standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and testing on completed assemblies to ensure proper functionality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders and testing results.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to address technical issues and improve processes.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electronic or mechanical assembly (1–3 years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Certification or coursework in electronic, mechanical, or related fields.
- Experience in UL-508A panel building or similar standards.
- Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and tools.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, bending, and manual dexterity for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
