Yard Technician

Aim High Equipment Rentals, formerly Indian Peaks Rental in Tabernash is currently looking for a Yard Technician.

A typical day might include the following:

• Prepping yard for start and close of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with Inside Sales
• Pressure wash, grease and preform basic repair and maintenance to ensure equipment is ready to rent
• Assist in the look, appearance, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

Top candidates will have:

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Be able to meet all conditions of drug and alcohol testing requirements and to commit to a drug-free workplace
• Ability to pass a forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A focus for safety

Additional qualifications:

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules which include some Saturdays
• Complete other duties as assigned

Physical demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds several times throughout a shift
• % of workday performing, but not limited to:

o Standing 50%

o Walking 45%

o Sitting 5%

This position is classified as nonexempt.
