Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various locations, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in phlebotomy and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for blood sampling in accordance with established protocols.
• Collect, label, and process specimens accurately while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
• Document patient information, including vital signs and medical history as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory techniques relevant to phlebotomy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specimen collection processing and blood sampling techniques.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
• Familiarity with laboratory practices and procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to manage anxiety or discomfort during procedures.
• Ability to accurately assess vital signs as part of the patient evaluation process.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks.
• Certification in phlebotomy and relevant training is required.
