What are the responsibilities and job description for the Self-Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor position at AIM Services Inc?
Purpose:
The Self Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor will have understanding of all AIM Self-Direction policies and procedures and assist in obtaining any required documentation. The Self-Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor will work with the internal and external Self-Direction teams to assure person centered supports are being provided and the teams have the tools to access the budget funds. The entire staff supports team is responsible for assisting staff when needed with benefit information, status information, DSP evaluation completion and any requested follow-up from the external Self-Direction team (Broker, Person Supported, Representative) and connecting them to internal resources as necessary.
The Self-Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor will be the primary contact person and support for all Staffing Supports and staff clearance related matters. The Self-Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor will support and direct the Lead Self-Direction Onboarding and Staffing Supports Coordinator to assist the individuals/advocates receiving services. The Self-Direction Staffing Supports Supervisor will support the department with any supports needed to maintain continuity of services and assist with ongoing project/team management. The Self-Direction Staffing supports Supervisor will be responsible for any coverage needed to assure all Onboarding/staffing supports are being provided as identified any additional supports needed to process and provide support to the onboarding/staffing supports process.
Responsible to: Director of Self-Direction Payroll and Staffing Supports
Status: Non-exempt
Essential Functions:
- Support the AIM Self-Direction Department with all fiscal intermediary policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Self-Direction Onboarding/Staffing Supports Department with routine trainings.
- Support the Lead Self-Direction Onboarding/ Staffing Supports Specialist by being the point person/mentor when needed. This can be assisting with payroll related questions, providing teams and staff with any necessary information and providing coverage as needed.
- Supporting the Lead Onboarding/ Staffing Supports specialist with oversight of the Onboarding Coordinators as well as the Staffing Supports Coordinators.
- Assist with Self-Direction departmental operations as needed.
- Ensure that the teams are trained and comfortable with the Evero Software Platform, Paylocity and Employee Navigator.
- Ensure the Staffing Supports Coordinators are proficient with the Agency benefits as well as the employee handbook.
Other Duties:
- Participate as an active member of the individuals’ program team and Circle of Support.
- Flexibility of schedule to ensure individual care and program implementation.
- Any and all other related duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in a Human Services Related Field with 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred; OR High School Degree with 4 years experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred and one year as a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator
- Program specific training (provided)
- Valid NYS Driver’s License acceptable to Agency Insurance standards. Maintain valid insurance and provide insurance card if using your own vehicle.
