Senior Treasury Analyst

Job Summary

This position will support all aspects of Treasury Operations including cash management activities coordinating debt and lines of credit and preparing cash flow analysis. The position will also require extensive interactions with other departments such as tax AP accounting operations and acquisition/disposition teams.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Finance/Accounting and 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience in multi-unit real estate/hospitality accounting environment a plus.
• Experience with JD Edwards a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cash management principles.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control.
• Ability to communicate and interact at all levels (upper management and staff)
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of accounting processes procedure and internal controls.
• Strong research and analysis skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that sufficient liquid funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
• Forecast cash flow positions related borrowing needs and available funds for our managed hotels.
• Coordinate with other corporate functions on current and forecast cash needs.
• Assist maintaining banking relationships with the company's creditors.
• Assist monitoring debt covenants and reports to lenders as required by the terms and conditions of the debt instrument.
• Monitor daily bank account balances for all accounts and notify senior management of problems in advance.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts balances bank/treasury systems and bank cost information.
• Manage departmental level projects related to services operations systems and technologies.
• Manage preparation of treasury reporting package and treasury dashboards and present to senior management.
• Partner with accounting and FP&A functions to ensure understanding of key drivers of cash activity.
• Incorporate treasury best practices and help identify areas of improvement/provide recommendations to management.
• Assist managing corporate credit facility draws repayments and interest due.
• Assist hotels and staff with ad-hoc Treasury projects as needed.
