Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food to high standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and menus;
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organization;
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service;
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a clean and safe working environment;
- Assist with food storage and rotation, and maintain accurate inventory records;
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field;
- Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations;
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
