Job Responsibilities
Technical & Preventive Maintenance
- Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other hotel systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, and equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, and exhaust fans.
- Repair minor carpentry, painting, and furniture issues to maintain property aesthetics and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, leaks, electrical issues, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, power failures, or mechanical breakdowns, ensuring guest safety.
- Lift and move objects (50 lbs.), stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines when handling tools, chemicals, and machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas, ensuring proper storage of tools and hazardous materials.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license required, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
