The Gift Shop Attendant sells gift shop merchandise to customers. Unpacks, verifies, and inspects received goods, rejecting damaged items or incorrect orders. Maintains records of items received. Prepares goods for display or sale and sorts and distributes items to the appropriate department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- For better future prospects, a certification course in sales and marketing or business management is preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team. Oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service skills. Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn about the goods in the store so as to explain to the customer
- Excellent communication and customer service ethics
- Handle exchange of goods
- When the sale is made, accept payments and hand over the receipt to the customer
