Job Summary
The Housekeeping Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping functions in assigned sections. This individual ensures that guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, assists room attendants as needed, and provides necessary training. In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager, this role assumes all supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Guest Rooms: Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms meet the highest cleaning standards.
- Assist Room Attendants: Provide support to room attendants as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide Training: Deliver training to room attendants on new procedures, equipment, and best practices.
- Supervise Staff: In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager, assume supervisory responsibilities for all housekeeping staff.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
- Qualifications: Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
