Your role is critical in providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service to guests while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Located in the Market Center area of Dallas, 3 miles northwest of downtown, this 11-story Sheraton Suites is across from the Dallas World Trade Center. Sheraton Suites Market Center offers 4,000 square feet of meeting space for groups of up to 180. Located in the lobby, Sheraton offers workstations with complimentary WiFi. Recreational amenities include a large fitness center with exercise room, spa tub, and indoor/outdoor pool. A complimentary area shuttle is available to guests who need local transportation (within a 3-mile radius). Sheraton is a pet-friendly hotel and has a smoke-free policy that reinforces the environmentally-friendly standard of all of our hotels.

- Customer Service Orientation: Deliver exceptional service to guests and employees, ensuring a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Anticipate and address issues proactively to maintain smooth operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Work with financial information and data to support the management of room revenue and occupancy.
- Supervisory Skills: Motivate, coach, and discipline Front Desk personnel, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, ensuring compliance with company regulations and safety standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize Windows operating systems and relevant software for effective management and reporting.
- Experience: 3- 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Education: 2-year college degree with 3 or more years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience.
- Attributes: Effective in handling stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.
- Additional Requirements: Compliance with certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
