About Us
The Complimentary AM Attendant (Breakfast Attendant) is in charge of making sure hotel guests have a great breakfast experience. This means being good at doing many things at once, paying attention to small details, and staying proactive in keeping the dining area clean, well-stocked, and organized. You'll also help with getting food and drinks ready, serving guests, and answering their questions while following the hotel's standards for quality and hospitality.
KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guest Service & Hospitality: Provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, greet guests, and respond to inquiries about hotel services, breakfast offerings, and local area attractions.
- Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve breakfast items, specialty beverages (including coffee and tea drinks), and maintain high food safety and sanitation standards.
- Efficiency & Organization: Ensure all service areas are clean, well-stocked, and set up according to brand standards; promptly clear tables and refresh buffet stations.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address guest needs and quickly evaluate solutions in case of special requests or issues.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Support other team members as needed, including assisting in dishwashing, replenishing food items, and keeping the kitchen and service areas tidy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues professionally.
- Cash Handling & POS Transactions: Perform basic cashiering duties such as closing checks, processing payments, and maintaining transaction records as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items (20-50 lbs.), and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in food & beverage or hospitality is a plus.
