Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Process Project Manager to manage software development projects and ensure smooth deployment and delivery. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in project management, a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
As the Process Project Manager, you will oversee the SDLC process, manage project timelines, collaborate with internal teams and external clients, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of software solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to manage 15-20 projects simultaneously and work closely with a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the SDLC process, determining the appropriate methodology for each project.
- Schedule and manage software deployments and enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee the prioritization of applications and manage organizational capacity.
- Develop Project Charters, Scopes, and Plans, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Coordinate testing for software deployments and enhancements, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders and end-users effectively.
- Manage post-deployment bug reporting and coordinate bug fixes.
- Continuously improve internal processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Manage 15-20 simultaneous projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in project management with a focus on software development.
- Skills: Strong experience in report creation, leadership, communication, problem-solving, time management, and negotiation.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, Trello, or similar tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
- Other: Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to federal contracting regulations.
- Work Ethic: Ability to handle pressure, self-motivate, and learn quickly with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies is ideal.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
