This is a full-time, direct hire position with a competitive annual salary of up to $160k with fully paid benefits, and a 6% 401K match.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manager and mentor a team of 8 developers using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Translate business requirements into functional and efficient code.
- Analyze user needs and develop creative, scalable solutions.
- Identify new application features and functionality and oversee their implementation.
- Remove project impediments and coach the team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the testing and debugging of code in pre-production environments.
- Stay up to date with new web technologies and participate in continuous learning opportunities.
- Act as the primary contact for application-related issues, working directly with company staff.

Requirements:
- Leadership: Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of software developers, including holding team members accountable.

- Agile Expertise: Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
- Hybrid Leadership: 6-7 years of experience managing teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Communication: Experience interfacing with C-level executives and other management teams.
- Personality: Professional, confident, and calm demeanor. Ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining positive relationships across teams.
- Adaptability: Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to adapt quickly to change.
- Expertise in web user interface design, database design, and Linux administration.
- 8-10 years of application development experience with a focus on Python, Django, web interfaces, and APIs.
- 2 years of experience with development methodologies and lifecycles.
