Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Run your own team and perform Civil Engineering and design tasks as the Licensed Professional and provide your guidance to team members assigned to complete task
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform grading & drainage designs including driveways, building pads, and erosion & sediment control plans
• Perform complex Hydrology calculations and Hydraulic evaluation of proposed drainage features for permit submission
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare Civil Design Drawings
• Discuss potential new projects with prospective clients and author professional service agreements for Civil Engineering related services
• Coordinate with other members of the project design team including colleagues, clients, Architects, Project team contractors, Owners, and Designers to coordinate civil design
• Perform on-site evaluations, construction observation and inspections, and project site reviews related to Civil Engineering projects
• Receive and address Client, Consultant and Contractor calls
• Communicating with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other parties involved in the design process
• Site visits both prior to and after the grading design is competed to observe existing field conditions and to confirm general conformance with the approved plans to provide a Final Letter

Requirements:

Education: B.S. or better in Civil Engineering discipline required

Experience: 2 years / Licensed PE (deal breaker)
