Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to perform CT scans, assist physicians with diagnostics, and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans with high-quality images.
- Prepare and comfort patients for imaging procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
- Administer contrast media under physician supervision.
- Review patient medical history for accuracy.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient records.
- Monitor patient comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Stay updated on CT technology and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT), or eligibility to obtain.
- State licensure and BLS certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in Radiologic Technology, including CT imaging.
- Knowledge of CT equipment and human anatomy.
- Exceptional patient care and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally).
- Potential exposure to radiation and infectious materials.
