Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Database Developer to assist in the monitoring and administration of databases and servers. This role involves close collaboration with Software Analysts to design and implement database solutions. The ideal candidate will help develop, maintain, and optimize database objects and systems while providing essential database support to agency staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily monitoring and administration of databases and servers.
Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architects to design, develop, and maintain database objects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive system and user documentation.
Provide database support to agency staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant, job-specific experience.

Required Skills & Experience:
Oracle Database Development using PL/SQL and SQL: 8 years of experience.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): 8 years of experience working through the entire SDLC.
ETL, Data Analysis, Logical & Physical Database Design: 8 years of experience.
Business Requirement Documents, Functional Design & Testing Documentation: 8 years of experience working with these documents.
Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages: 8 years of experience writing and implementing these as per business logic.
Desired Skills:
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools.
