Roadway/Highway Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead roadway design (geometry, utilities, ADA compliance, traffic control, signage, markings).
- Develop models using Civil 3D (required); experience with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads (preferred).
- Collaborate with teams, clients, and agencies for approvals and permits.
- Prepare and review engineering documents, reports, and cost estimates.
- Oversee junior staff and conduct quality reviews.
- Travel within NYC and NY State for site investigations and construction support.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering (Roadway/Highway focus).
- 7-10 years of experience in roadway/highway design.
- PE license required.
- Knowledge of NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYSTA, PANYNJ, AASHTO, FHWA standards.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
