What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatrician position at Aimic Inc?
Essential Functions
This position is responsible for both direct and indirect patient care and management. The pediatrician is responsible for proper documentation, execution of office visits, chart preparation, prescriptions, orders and administrative duties.
- Develops and implements treatment plans according to FAI guidelines.
- Observes, records and reports patients’ vitals and reactions to all administered treatments.
- Completes visit preparation including questionnaires and the resolution of clarifications accurately and timely according to the established schedule.
- Consults and coordinates with other health care providers working at any FAI clinic.
- Responds to patient reactions situations and manages and stabilizes grade 1, 2, 3 reactions in clinic and on call as needed.
- Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations; and exercise independent judgment. Contributes to quality improvement projects within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Active CA medical license
- Board certified in Pediatrics
- BLS & PALS certification
- Valid DEA license
- National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
- Maintain current Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite Proficient
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Customer service and professional work environment experience
- Team mentality and positive working attitude
