Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team in Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. This role requires clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and a commitment to improving community health outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses within the scope of family medicine.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Perform minor medical procedures as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
  • Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an FNP in a primary care or family medicine setting.
  • Strong knowledge of primary care principles, evidence-based practice, and patient education strategies.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managed care, value-based care, or population health management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
