Job Description:

The College embraces and seeks to hire individuals who want to be a part of this environment and has the skill sets necessary to be successful in this position.Guest Service Associates provide quality customer service to all visitors of the physical education and recreation center. At the front desk, this position assists guests with the facility check-in/check-out process, answers questions about the facility and department face-to-face and over the phone, and helps with other facility related processes as needed.
Job Duties:
Monitor and manage the flow of facility users using the department data software.
Greet facility users with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Answer questions regarding facility and facility usage.
Answer phone calls and email inquiries about the Physical Education & Recreation Center.
Assist faculty and instructors with questions regarding the facility.
Communicate with the Physical Education and Recreation administrators about any suspicious activities and facility safety or maintenance issues that may arise.
Follow and help enforce all Physical Education & Recreation Center policies and procedures.
Able to attend in-house meetings and training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate; college experience preferred.
Skilled professional communication etiquette
Great interpersonal skills
Hold a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain certification. CPR/First Aid/AED classes are offered to staff at no expense.
Physical effort required, including but not limited to: lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.
A pre-employment post offer physical exam will be required of the selected candidate.
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more years on customer service experience
Possess effective decision-making skills
Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
