Buyer

A well-established manufacturing company in the Easton, PA area is seeking a Buyer to join its growing team. This role is responsible for procurement, supplier management, and inventory coordination to ensure smooth production operations and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Analyze and interpret purchasing data using Excel (advanced Excel preferred).
• Expedite materials as needed to support production schedules and minimize disruptions.
• Work within MRP systems (currently Avante, transitioning to Syteline) to maintain accurate procurement parameters.
• Support cost savings initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt purchasing strategies based on shifting priorities.
• Ensure effective supplier communication and problem-solve procurement challenges proactively.
• Be part of a self-directed work team, taking ownership of procurement functions alongside other team members, including leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,675.00 - $85,000.00 per year
