Ainsley Search Group is hiring for a Project Engineer to join a Global Manufacturer located in the Chester County. This Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and support major capex projects for manufacturing plants, leading the Life cycle of new capital project design, factory layout design and re-configuration, process & technology transfer from design, installation to commissioning, drives process improvement through lean concept and further improve production output, waste and cost reduction. This is a permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation, bonus and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross functional teams to oversee major capex projects, factory layout design and reconfiguration, process & technologies transfer, facilities construction projects, plan, develop and executes project life cycle from design, budgeting, to close out.
- Define, develop and manage project scopes, ensure scopes are understood by all stakeholders and develop project qualification criteria such as FAT, PAT, Final acceptance criteria, etc.
- Direct and manage contractors and maintenance personnel regarding project progression, ensures compliance of plant safety, GMP, quality standards, track project progression to ensure project meet projected timeline and budget.
- Lead and conduct 3D and 2D drafting, Modeling, Engineering Rendering, Design Modifications, manage engineering drawings and documents, process engineering change requests as needed.
- Provides training for production and maintenance staff on proper operating procedures, safety procedure, preventive maintenance requirements for new or modified capital equipment.
- Drives process improvement and reliability through lean concept and CI initiatives, identify areas of opportunities and/or areas of issues to further address root causes and corrective/preventive measures, improve production output and reduce waste and cost.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer or related engineering degree
- Recent work experience in capital project management
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, able to apply creative and innovative thinking.
- Excellent communication and people skills, solid project management skill, ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimum supervision.
