Ainsley Search Group is seeking a Quality Engineer (Process Improvement) to join a global Manufacturer located in Chester County. This is a permanent, hands-on opportunity with lucrative compensation and benefit package. The company would like to develop this individual to the Quality Manager in the near future. Qualified candidate must have a BA degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Material Science, recent years of practice in quality, process or manufacturing engineering in a Manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
*Report to the Quality Manager and collaborate the quality team to improve process across the production floor.
*Diagnose process related issue across incoming materials, equipment, production and engineering, implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve bottleneck.
*Lead Lean Six Sigma Initiative and operate as an agent of changes.
*Collect, analyze, and communicate quality data to business partners (Engineers, Production Associates, Management, Operations, Sales, Vendors, etc).
*Participate internal and external audit, maintain proper documentation on audits and develop corrective plans.
*Analyze manufacturing process flows and identify enhancements of quality, cost reduction and throughput.
*Collaborate with Process Engineer and Production Team regarding tooling to ensure production efficiency.
*Conduct root cause and process analysis for re-work/return products, identify bottleneck and recommend revision on process to reduce recurring re-work issue.
*Communication with customers on a regular basis regarding customer specification, quality issue, customer audits, etc.
*Monitor production and QC process on the production floor, observe and document manufacturing process and analyze manufacturing data; maintain an regular communication with manufacturing staff to educate staff regarding process changes, quality and improvement plan.
*Develop training program for employees and standardize quality manual.
Qualifications:
*bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
*Recent years of experience working as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer in Manufacturing, exposure to high volume, high yield production environment.
*Excellent people and communication skills, able to motivate employees to adapt and patriciate changes and improvement.
*Able to work independently and under limited supervision; creative and proactive in problem solving.
*Strong analytical skills and decision-making skills.
