Ainsley Search Group is seeking a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to lead safety initiatives across multiple manufacturing plants. This role requires a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in developing and implementing safety policies, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of safety policies, processes, and procedures.
- Develop measurable safety performance objectives, metrics, and KPIs to drive improvement on safety across all organizations.
- Ensure organization follows OSHA rules and regulations, regularly update OSHA rules, changes, updates, new policies to ensure compliance is up to date.
- Oversee all aspects of workers' compensation activities, including insurance claims, incident reports, investigations, and medical management.
- Maintain personal protection equipment and promote its use throughout facilities.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and safety issues.
- Lead the inspection of equipment for purpose of safety to validate its proper functionality.
- Ensure the security procedures and policies for local plants and ensure compliance with emergency and evacuation procedures.
