POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Executive will be responsible for pursuing the sale, lease or placement of The Company’s approved gaming products to licensed gaming establishments within the assigned territory. Candidate must live in the territory area or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently travels throughout the assigned territory in the United States (territory subject to alteration), by self, with supervisor and/or company executives to call on established or prospective customers to: develop relationships, solicit business, make sales and to resolve customer issues. Above activities are supplemented by telephone activity as needed.
- Compiles and maintains updated account listing and information on all customers through the use of personal contacts, trade publications, business directories, web sites, the internet and other available sources of information. Listing to include: key contact(s), address(s), telephone numbers, call history, identified sales opportunities, floor census and other items as determined. All contact information to be maintained in a company supplied CRM program.
- Provides to management updated forecasts reports on a regular basis for approval and identifies major sales opportunities to management in a timely manner.
- Keeps management abreast of competitive market trends and any issues that are/or may impede sales.
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the products and their application within the marketplace.
- Represents the company at trade association meetings and/or conventions/seminars/trade shows to promote the company’s products.
- Identifies customer requirements via sales contact or through floor analysis. Displays or demonstrates products that may fulfill customer requirements through the use of marketing materials, product demonstrations or PowerPoint presentations.
- Prepares quotes, contracts, configurations and company documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepares and evaluates each sales opportunity on the Company Quoting Tool and understands the impact on company financials.
- Communicates effectively, timely and accurately with internal company departments on all details associated with current and prospective customer product expectations.
- Estimates date of installation to the customer based on knowledge of the company’s production, delivery and installation schedules. Keeps customer advised of all issues impacting the installation of the company’s product.
- Prepares accurate and timely expense accounting reporting.
- Presents him/herself in a professional manner in keeping with the customer expectations.
- Presents established and effective sales training methods, techniques and ideas to assigned sales personnel as required by management.
- Trains sales personnel in developing prospective customers and maintaining the company supplied CRM program.
- Manages and reports on the progress of sales representatives and other personnel on an as needed basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university; or
- Three or more years of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of three years of gaming or gaming related industry experience is preferred but is not required;
- A thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite and a CRM program is required.
Other Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations;
- Ability to generate reports, business correspondence, RFP’s, contracts, sales proposals and develop formal presentations;
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Candidate must live in territory area.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a required gaming registration in assigned jurisdictions.
