POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for the purchasing of goods and services required, ensuring on time deliveries and customer satisfaction. The primary objective is to identify and obtain the products and services that must be obtained externally. In accomplishing this, the Buyer will evaluate and determine the best supplier, value and delivery for those products and services.
Reports to: Senior Materials Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
A combination of over 5 years directly related education, training and/or experience is desired for this position. Prior gaming experience a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills: specifically, MRP software and MS office (Word, Excel).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create and follow up on purchase orders based on MRP generated demands and purchase requisitions.
- Ensure material is received so it does not delay production.
- Ability to handle urgent procurement needs and expedite deliveries to avoid delays in production.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure all products, materials and assets are available to meet production and operational needs.
- Create and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure on time deliveries.
- Work towards a reduction in material costs.
- Develop multiple vendor options where possible.
- Maintain production Shortage Reporting.
- Effectively communicate delivery dates for all material shortages with management by being precise and detailed. This includes all material shortages, especially those delaying orders.
- Manage the vendors effectively and continuously until a satisfactory answer is received.
- Track shipments, handle logistics, and address any issues that could impact delivery schedules or product launches.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple products simultaneously.
- Create and maintain material spreadsheets based on purchases and receipts.
- Maintain MRP Exception reports.
- Maintain safety stock levels both through MRP and with external vendors.
- Maintain Standard cost, EOQ, and Min/Max within MRP.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail, meticulous record keeping and organizational skills.
- Develop reports to reduce manual review and sorting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with MRP Planned Order reports
- Experience with MRP Exception Reports
- Independent self-starter with positive attitude
- Previous gaming experience
