What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk position at Ainsworth Game Technology?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Receives product, ensures invoice accuracy, assists with ordering, receiving, stocking and kitting of orders, maintains department cleanliness, and provides customer service. This is a hands-on position from 7:30am-4:00pm.
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Receives product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.
- Posts orders and receiving information daily using Pronto computer system.
- Delivers invoices/pack slips to appropriate personnel.
- Moves shipments into appropriate locations for stocking or overstock, keeping pathways clear. Ensure shortages are filled on the production line.
- Stocks, rotates to FIFO and identifies product and bin locations as needed according to department procedure. Maintain bin locations.
- Performs cycle counts as needed.
- Maintains overstock areas according to department standards.
- Trains other staff as needed.
- Ensures exterior doors are locked and secure when not in use.
- Ensures only authorized personnel enter receiving area.
- Ensures garbage and recycling dumpsters are clear of trash for pick up on appropriate days.
- Catalogs and codes invoices, if requested, according to procedure.
- Assists in other departments as needed.
- Delivers material/packages to other departments as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manual.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task, and maintain focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience or interest in gaming products.
- Be able to operate forklift(s) and other handling equipment.
- Good computer skills with Word, Excel and email.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration.
