The Technician will work professionally with both internal and external clients; report directly to a team project manager and work closely with the design engineer to ensure they have the tools necessary to be successful on each project. In order to perform your task you will utilize your knowledge of electronics (board level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, and building control techniques.Key Responsibilities : Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.Coordinates with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.Displays team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires. Qualifications : High School or GED required; Associates degree in HVAC or Control Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience0-2 years of experience as a DDC TechnicianProficient with a computer - Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to new software platformsNo relevant experience necessary but knowledge of mechanical systems and sequences of operations is a plusReading and understand mechanical design documents (duct layouts, piping schematics, riser diagrams)Reading Manufacturer's wire diagramsExperienced abilities in problem solving and troubleshootingPresents a positive image for the companyPossess a desire to continually learn and strive towards excellenceSeeks high level of quality in their work and to exceed client expectations (internal and external)Local candidates are preferred.
