Job Summary :
The Ainsworth family is looking for an individual to join our Regional Leadership Team as a Facilities Planner for one of our key Integrated Facilities Management partnerships in the Automotive Manufacturing and Engineering market. Being a member of a Regional Leadership Team you will have general knowledge and provide cross-functional support for your colleagues in both Hard and Soft Service outcome delivery within the portfolio being challenged to champion lean / 6 sigma efforts for all sites and services within the your region / portfolio while owning the process for your team to ensure the proper configuration and use of Management Information Systems (e.g. CMMS, Quality Tracking Systems and other related applications). You will also engage and assist operational leaders in the planning and execution of medium and long term operational planning and specialized projects for our team and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities :
- Champion the effective configuration and use of CMMS and other MIS systems to enhance client relations and efficient operations for designated portfolio(s).
- Update required systems and technical documentation, including AutoCAD drawings, affected through the delivery of our services.
- Perform and coordinate facilities condition assessments and service delivery effectiveness evaluations while collaborating with operational leadership to increase our efficiencies.
- Ownership of capital planning process and associated tools for designated portfolio(s).
- Plan assigned projects inclusive of defining, chartering, defining success criteria, methods, timetables, budgeting, commissioning, turnover, culminating with project close out.
- Work with subject matter experts on in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of specific building systems.
- Prepare and work with unit and client leadership to obtain approval of plans / specifications / scope of new work for your unit.
- Champion the RFP and vendor selection process, with organizational supply chain support, to ensure proper sourcing of materials and services.
- Actively engage in the Quality Assurance process for your portfolio(s).
- Coordinate and lead projects related to improvement of operational processes for all areas of the operation.
