Associate Attorney – Criminal Defense
Location: Gilbert, AZ (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility)
Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 per year Bonuses

A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with experience in criminal defense to join our team. This role involves handling all aspects of case management, including legal research, drafting, client communication, and court appearances for hearings and trials across Arizona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in hearings and trials in various courts
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Provide strategic legal counsel and case evaluations
- Manage caseload independently while collaborating with a team
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Arizona State Bar membership in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in criminal defense
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- In-depth knowledge of Arizona criminal law and procedures
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Military veterans and former prosecutors preferred
