What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drone Pilot - RPIC position at AIR-Agency of Investigation Recon?
AIR/Agency of Investigation Recon is seeking a skilled and experienced drone videographer/photographer (Remote Pilot In Command/RPIC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aerial photography and videography, and experience working with some of the following client's including estate estate professionals (residential & commercial), private investigators, film production crews, music video production clients.
Experience:
- Photography: 2 years - Preferred
- Real Estate Photography: 1 year- Preferred
Responsibilities:
- Arrive to scheduled appointments on time and prepared
- Capture the appropriate amount of high-quality aerial footage and images for real estate and other industries using a drone.
- Plan and coordinate drone flights, including obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Provide post production edits.
- You must have a car with a current and legal driver’s license plus insurance.
- Ability to upload video remotely - Preferred
Qualifications:
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Experience working as a drone videographer or photographer, specifically in the real estate industry
- Proficient in operating a drone and knowledge of various camera and drone models
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to operate a drone, including the ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Equipment Requirements:
- The ideal candidates will have a full kit (Drone preferably with zoom capabilities, DSLR or comparable camera and a 360 Camera).
- Wide Angle Lens (From 10 - 16mm or equivalent or you're willing to invest.
- Drone (DJI Mavic 2 Zoom or other equivalent), 12 megapixels / 4k
- Ricoh Theta SC2, Z1, other Matterport-compatible camera, or willing to invest in one
- Android Phone preferable
- Laptop/Computer w/high speed internet
- Sturdy tripod
- Reliable transportation
Education Requirements:
- College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Multi-lingual a plus
