A. Position: Cargo Service Representative-LAX
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: LAX Airport
- Job Schedule: 09:00-17:30 (Working shift will be flexible according to flight schedule)
B. Job Description/Responsibilities:
Job Summary: In this role, you will track and trace shipments, respond to cargo inquiries, resolve claims, and maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound cargo. Additionally, you will provide general customer support and monitor flights to ensure timely and efficient service.
Your expected pay rate is $23.00-$25.00/hour. Actual pay rate will be determined based on individual’s skills, experience and other relevant qualifications. Employee working night shifts will receive a higher hourly rate (additional $3.00/hour) plus overtime at an enhanced rate.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely cargo movement and delivery.
- Respond to and manage all cargo-related inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Handle and resolve cargo claims promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound cargo.
- Provide high-quality customer service, addressing client concerns and requests effectively.
- Monitor and support flight operations to ensure smooth cargo handling and logistics.
C. Qualifications:
- Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skills in English, Mandarin Chinese preferred.
- Strong planning and organization skills, and attention to details.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
