Job Summary
The Asbestos Abatement Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing asbestos abatement projects and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. This position requires a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, as well as the ability to build and restore environments affected by asbestos and mold. The Asbestos Manager will lead a team of asbestos technicians in executing remediation projects while prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of asbestos abatement projects, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and safety protocols.
- Conduct site assessments to identify asbestos-containing materials and develop remediation strategies.
- Supervise and train staff on safe handling practices for asbestos and mold remediation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities, including inspections, reports, and compliance records.
- Monitor job sites for safety hazards and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos management.
