ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
INTRODUCTION

The products address the following areas: bedside cleaning, electrical leakage testing, drying, transporting and storing the TEE ultrasound probe. Our objective is to manage the care given to each TEE probe thus allowing for a reduction in healthcare associated infections.
Our products incorporate temperature critical fluidics, microprocessor control and data transfer, interactive human interface and electromechanical design components. CS Medical, a leading designer, developer and manufacturer in the medical device industry, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician with 3-7 years’ experience, who is interested in continuing to develop his or her skills in a dynamic work environment.

JOB TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the production team, the Technician will be required to assemble electro-mechanical devices by following work instructions and written departmental procedures. Proper documentation skills are required for recording test results and lot information. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills are desirable, as is demonstrable skill with common assembly and fabrication tools and processes.
JOB DUTIES
- Assemble electro-mechanical devices
- Perform testing, complete test reports and record information
- Create and maintain device history file records
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Follow production and departmental procedures
- Work in and contribute to a team environment
- Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical diploma and/or relevant experience
- 3-7 years’ electro-mechanical technician experience
- Must be able to do hands-on building of assemblies and be comfortable in the use of basic power tools.
- Proven skills and experience in troubleshooting
- Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision
- Must be detail oriented and have good communication and organizational skills PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in regulated industry (medial device, telecommunications, etc.)
- Experience with complex electro-mechanical assemblies
LOCATION
This position will be based at our Creedmoor, NC offices.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position.
HOURS
The general hours shall be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The Company offers a one hour lunch break and two paid breaks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Work is regularly performed in office, production floor, and warehouse environments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally to frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally to frequently required to stand and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 80 pounds. The employee must be able to use fine and gross motor skills frequently.
