Job Description: The QHSE Field Representative will be responsible for promoting the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards of the organization, primarily through observations, coaching, mentoring. In addition, they will assist in preparing and delivering training for employees on safety matters, take the lead on identifying hazards at the workplace, participate in inspecting equipment, enforce safety policies, and safeguard inventory as necessary.
Role and Responsibilities:

Promote a safety culture that:

- Assist co-workers in identifying and reducing HSE risk through communication of safe work best practices, safe work programs, promoting safety awareness and environmental mindfulness, in compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Drive ACS safety policies and programs.
- Assist QHSE Manager in conducting risk assessments.
- Assist QHSE Manager in preparing and presenting reports on accidents and violations.
- Assist QHSE Manager in incident investigations.
- Assist QHSE Manager in recording KPI’s to include man-hours, miles driven, TRIR, and DART scores.
- Assist in communication of QHSE Newsletters and Safety Alerts
- Assist Supervisors in assessing Fit for Duty of team members
- Inspect how PPE is donned throughout the day as well as ensuring that any special PPE required is properly worn.( i.e. chemical, working at heights)
- Conduct weekly Field Safety Inspections, as well as Human Performance engagements, with a focus on preventing SIF events
- Identify process bottlenecks in any safety processes and offer timely solutions.
- Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations to include updating Veriforce, ISNETworld, and AVETTA
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Assist with FMCSA/DOT compliance and suggest recommendations as necessary.
- Assist with MSHA compliance and suggest recommendations as necessary.
- Ensure MSA process is followed, and records are kept.
- Responsible for all COI requests and registering vehicles with Insurance and state registrations
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute safety programs including but not limited to productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Driving and promoting ACS vision and core values and adhering to all rules and regulations.
- Additional requests from management as needed and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Years’ Experience: 2-3 years minimum
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while working on equipment.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.)
- Be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions (extreme heat and cold).
- Ability to climb various equipment and ladders, lift and carry equipment, tools and components weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Military experience and training with honorable discharge a plus.
