Job Description : Assist other technicians in the assembly process of compressor skids. Install electrical enclosures, electrical conduit, and electrical wiring. Termination of wiring and testing of electrical installations.
Build wire control panels and install electrical instrumentation as needed.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, as they will be a major factor in the job duties.
- Must be able to work closely with other technicians as well as other assembly technicians throughout the assembly process.
- Must be able to coordinate with management as the projects can become detail specific determining on customer requirements / requests.
- Must possess a team first mindset as well as
- Demonstrate safety awareness for themselves and the people around them.
- Must be able to handle and operate standard electrical hand-tools as well as cordless drills and other power tools required to fulfill the daily job requirements.
- Demonstrated I&E competence, typically accompanied with a Journeyman Certification and / or several years of I&E experience (preferably in oil & gas).
- Build wire control panels based on engineering drawing, specification, and customer requirements.
