What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Conditioning Technical Support position at Air-Con International, Inc.?
HVAC industry company is seeking a Technical Support technician to join our growing team. The Technical Support team will effectively resolve technical issues regarding our air-conditioning units and answer any questions from customers. The ideal candidate MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Take calls from technicians seeking Technical Support (HVAC)
- Effectively communicate troubleshooting information and help customers resolve technical issues or warranty questions
- Make a detail screening of the person calling and give the information to the in-house technician for call-back if issue could not be resolved
- Technical skills desired, but not required (HVAC)
- Must be open to learning new skills such as computer software and technical details
- Review FAP parts inventory
- Process the warranty parts (identify and pack for shipping)
- Process the equipment returned by customers
- Determine if equipment to be (recovered, cannibalize, scrap)
- Equipment recovered to be transferred to the warehouse or make available for sale in the Warranty Department
- Be the safeguard of all Warranty Inventory
- Make cyclical parts inventory
- Keep warranty and parts area clean and organized
- Review product and parts history to help evaluate suppliers
- Make recommendation to improve the Warranty procedures
- Assist the Warranty Department in any additional duties requested
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
