Job Summary: As a Heat Trace Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heat trace systems used in commercial applications. You will work closely with sales teams, engineers, and project managers to assess project requirements, analyze drawings and specifications, and create detailed proposals that meet client needs and project goals.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Project Assessment: Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Utilize cost estimation software and tools to prepare detailed and accurate material and labor cost estimates for heat trace systems.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop proposals and bid packages that include pricing and scope of work.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with sales teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on project scope and requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of heat trace products, systems, and installation practices to propose optimized solutions that meet performance and budgetary requirements. Be willing to learn and understand the products and services we offer.
